  • Aftersales Service Executive

    Aftersales Department

    The Role

    To assist the Supply Chain and Aftersales Service Manager in the delivery of superior customer service, with specific focus on “After Sales” response to enquiries, issues or complaints; managing these through to resolution, exceeding expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver the highest level of customer service to John Cullen clients and identify opportunities for improvement
    • Ensure that customer complaints are dealt with in a timely manner according to our policies and procedures
    • Log all Aftersales and Customer Service complaints and analyse and identify trends reporting issues at operational meetings, and suggest corrective actions
    • Provide Aftersales support to all customers and respond within a reasonable amount of time to all issues, setting expectations with the customer
    • Help deliver the Warranty Service for all John Cullen product (RMA procedure) and liaise with both our suppliers and any necessary third parties
    • Initiate follow-up phone calls with customers following the resolution of corrective actions
    • Initiate the delivery of feedback surveys following delivery of products and services.
    • Support the Supply Chain to deliver special order products and service by processing Purchase Requests and advising Sales of any issues
    • Ensure that supplier ‘Open Order Book’ dates are entered in our ERP system escalating any concerns to the Supply Chain team
    • Initiate communication with customers in situations where product delivery has exceeded commitment dates; advising them of delays and where necessary suggesting alternatives
    • Attend and advise visitors to the John Cullen Customer Service Centre involving Sales or Design Teams as required
    • Assist project management with product support and repair requests received through all communication channels; with particular focus on incoming calls and emails
    • Negotiate with customers to deliver the alternative products if required, passing resultant sales orders to the Sales Team; identifying any potential leads as result of such interactions
    • Be fully aware of the latest products, technology and technical information in the John Cullen product range, including all its unique selling points
    • Develop long-term customer relationships with a view to generating and increasing trust in the John Cullen brand
    • Keep manager aware of significant issues or concerns identified during routine activities. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
    • Manage daily, weekly, monthly KPI dashboard

     Qualifications

    • GCSEs, with good grades in English and Maths

     Experience

    • 3+ years’ in a customer service role, preferably in a luxury goods or brand business
    • Knowledge of customer service in a brand driven environment is preferred. Sensitivity for brand values and identity.

  • Sales Administrator

    Sales

    Purpose of the Role

    A broad administrative role in Sales but with specific requirement to provide sales quotations (from lighting specification documents and from AutoCAD tender drawings) and also to process sales orders effectively. The role provides a key link between Sales, Supply Chain and end customers. This role requires all-round administrative skills combined with an excellent customer service ethos.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Accurately raise sales quotations alongside the responsible Sales team member
    • Prepare accurate bills of material, budgetary quotes, indicative drawing schematics
    • Accurately process and cross-check sales orders
    • Raise sales invoices and pro-forma invoices; produce order acknowledgements and monitor order payments to process delivery notes
    • Work closely with the Supply team to ensure products are delivered to the customer in a timely manner, proactively confirming lead-times to the client and Sales team
    • Update and maintain client records on the Company CRM system
    • Support incoming telephone enquiries, taking clients details and requirements accurately and politely and communicate clearly and concisely to the Sales team and other teams
    • Have a good understanding of the Company’s product and service offering
    • Work additional hours as required commensurate with the responsibilities of the role
    • Prepare accurate Sales and activity KPI data to the Sales director

  • Assistant Project Coordinator

    Design and Sales

    The Role

    To support the Project Coordinator in the smooth running of projects, helping to draft detailed project plans and then coordinating their delivery on time and to the customer’s satisfaction – providing the main link between sales, design, supply chain and end customers. The emphasis will be on managing smaller projects fairly autonomously and supporting larger projects.

    Furthermore, the role requires the preparation of sales quotations from lighting specification documents and from AutoCAD tender drawings, as well as the processing of sales orders and invoicing.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drafting, in support of the Project Coordinator, detailed, accurate, and realistic time plans for the effective delivery of complex, cross-functional projects with inter-dependencies
    • Coordinating communication and meetings with internal and external stakeholders in projects ensuring the pre-agreed project programme is meticulously followed
    • Raising accurate sales quotations with the support of the relevant design / sales member
    • Preparing accurate bills of material and budgetary quotes
    • Processing and cross-checking sales orders and producing order acknowledgements
    • Raising sales invoices / pro-forma invoices and monitoring order payments to process delivery notes
    • Raise design fee invoices and assist in reporting on the status of ACTUAL design fee invoicing vs client agreed proposal to highlight over/under servicing issues
    • Working closely with the R&D and Supply chain teams to ensure products are delivered to the customer in a timely manner, proactively confirming lead times to the client and sales team
    • Updating and maintaining client records on the Company CRM system
    • Communicating by telephone (in & out) and email with all stakeholders in a timely and proactive manner
    • Coordinate the agreement and confirmation of site bookings for controls and lighting design personnel
    • Draft monthly reports on project status for review by Project Coordinator and issue to team leaders
    • With sales team, provide accurate information for forecasting
    • Work with Project Coordinator to identify project risks such as; potential bottle necks which stretch resources, product availability, lead times etc

     Qualifications

     Experience required

    • 1 year’s project management
    • 1 year in a business where service delivery has a high priority

  • SEO/PPC Executive

    Marketing Department

    Purpose of the Role

    To create, develop and implement the John Cullen Lighting SEO and PPC strategy. To work with the Marketing Team to deliver team objectives by growing traffic and leads.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop long term strategies for both SEO and PPC, conducting site audits to identify areas of improvement and monitoring on-page optimisation, technical, content creation, links and authority.
    • Develop, run and optimise SEO campaigns using on page optimisation, carrying out the keyword research, competitor analysis, technical audits, reporting and link building activities and outreach campaigns.
    • Manage the day-today execution of developing great SEO, optimising copy and content and adding content to the website, suggesting and implementing technical improvements.
    • Take ownership of bid management and optimisation of all PPC campaigns and set campaign targets.
    • Write/create all PPC, remarketing and display ads for new campaigns.
    • Report on a weekly and monthly basis of the overall performance of the SEO and PPC campaigns ensuring that all key insights are incorporated.
    • Work with R&D to input data into PIM (Product Information Management system) which feeds directly into the website.
    • Keep up to date with industry trends and competitor activity and reporting back to your team.

    Qualifications

    • GCSEs, with good grades in English and Maths

    Experience

    • At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role of managing SEO and PPC campaigns

  • Technical Assistant

    Sales

    Job Purpose

    • To provide technical support and advice using in-depth understanding of lighting installations and control systems, supporting the field-based technical team and the Sales and Design teams.
    • To be responsible for offering the correct technical solution relevant to the situation. Promoting our services and products to offer the best solution for the client whilst maximising the sales opportunity.

     Key Responsibilities

    • To be fully aware of the latest products, technology and technical information on the John Cullen Lighting product range.
    • Communicate and report on weekly/monthly basis regarding support topics.
    • Ensure that all field documentation (incl. site visit reports, handover documents) are fully completed, signed and archived.
    • Analyse potential fault finding and advice in suggesting technical solutions.
    • Exhibit high level customer service and technical skills in proactively dealing with and resolving customer issues whilst tracing the chain of fault back to a root cause.
    • Monitor and communicate any technical or project installation issues to the Technical Support & Service manager.
    • Minimise any remedial cost to the company as a result of rectifying projects both in terms of product supply, returns and 3rd party labour costs involved in completing the work.
    • Log all product defects and inform Supply Chain or Product Development and regarding defects.
    • Provide technical guidance to electrical installers, distributors and other business partners.
    • Support the Technical Support & Service Manager in suggesting content for technical support documentation including application notes, technical tips, frequently asked questions.
    • Perform bench testing of suspected faulty products taking into account Health and Safety procedures.
    • Assist Sales, Design and R&D Teams in and out of the office
    • Keep technical documentation up to date.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum good grades in English and Maths GCSE
    • Ideally, HNC in electrical / electronic engineering or manufacturing

     Experience

    • Strong technical knowledge within the electrical and lighting manufacturing industry, in particular experience with LED fittings and LED drivers
    • Proven practical experience in testing and fault finding desirable
    • Practical, theory or maintenance background in electrical and electronic workings

  • Senior Lighting Designer

    The Senior Lighting Designer role based in our Mumbai office is responsible delivering our world class lighting
    design service to our clients across the region. As a professional lighting design expert, you will be responsible for
    all aspects of the lighting design process from initial client project meeting, through concept, schematic,
    developed design and on to full supervision of our award winning projects.

    Key Attributes:

    As a confident and knowledgeable senior lighting designer with experience designing and managing high scale
    and detailed projects worldwide. Attention to detail is incredibly important and the confidence to work alone and
    as a part of our design team. You are expected to have excellent organisational skills and you must be a John

    colleagues.

    Requirements:

  • Supply Chain and Purchasing Analyst

    Dubai

    Our Supply chain analyst will be responsible for examining workflow and utilising analytical and quantitative
    methods to understand, predict, and streamline business processes, global stock levels, and enhance supply chain
    processes.

    Based on data analysis you must be able to purchase the correct stock levels for each product and issue accurate production orders for in-house assembly. This role utilises historical sales in combination with data on trends to generate supply plans and forecast product flow.

    The position includes assembling of data, analyses of performance, and identification of problems, as well as
    developing recommendations which support supply chain management planning and operations. Partnering with several cross functional teams, including (Global Logistics, Sales, & Operations) to assist, influence, and recommend solutions that identify root cause analysis and improve process development.

    Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

    • You will be expected to analyse large and multi-dimensional data sets using Excel and our SAP ERP system with an understanding of transportation, supply chain and logistics concepts.
    • A working knowledge of data analysis and the ability to follows process and standard procedures
      quantitative and analytical skills is a must.
