  • Specification Sales Advisor

    Kuwait & Qatar

    The Specification Sales Executive role is predominantly field-based focusing on the International design community, generating project specification sales in both Kuwait and Qatar. This specification sales role is to specify and sell our in-house designed LED lighting solutions to luxury markets such as high-end residential, boutique retail and hospitality applications. This role requires demonstrating an ability to understand the specification sales process with knowledge on LED lighting and interior / architectural design. The role will also involve the promotion of our in-house Lighting Design and Technical Support services.

    Key tasks and responsibilities include:

    • Sales responsibilities
    • Proactively identify, map and create relationships throughout the international design community.
    • Have JCL products and services specified with key stakeholders including architects, interior designers,
      landscape designers, consultants, developers and contractors
    • Generate project specification sales leads of new prospective customers through cold calling, networking
      and face-to-face meetings
    • Generate sales revenue at the best possible sales margin to achieve personal and department targets
    • Create quality quotations / fee proposals and build a solid project pipeline in accordance with your sales
      target
    • Develop long-term sustainable customer relationships in line with the company business strategy
    • Be fully aware of the JCL Products and Design Services and all its unique selling points
    • When required deliver external seminars through CPD training and assist on JCL Master Classes
    •  Ensure 1st line support to all customers and respond within a reasonable amount of time to all queries
    • To work additional hours as required commensurate with the responsibilities of the role
    • Communicate through personal contact, telephone, email to the highest possible standard in line with
      the JCL brand image & reputation

    This is a regional role and therefore may require frequent regional and international travel.

    Key Performance Indicators:

    • Mapping the stakeholder network in the international design community, recorded in CRM
    • Quantity of Customer visits and accurate sales, recorded in CRM
    • Number of project specified (pipeline), recorded in CRM
    • Number of quotations, average quotation value and conversation rate, recorded in CRM
    • 100% Customer satisfaction
    • 100% Sales Revenue / Margin Target achievement
    • Lighting products & design knowledge

  • Sales Executive

    UK Sales

    The Sales Executive role is predominantly office-based focusing initially at least on telephone sales with responsibility for lighting sales specifications, demonstrating the attainment of a proficient level of specialist lighting industry and technical product knowledge. Ideally we see this position developing to an external selling role focused on the greater London region, selling our in-house designed LED lighting solutions to luxury markets such as high-end residential applications. This role requires demonstrating a LED lighting sales record, specialist knowledge on the UK LED lighting industry and LED product knowledge.

    Sales responsibilities:

    • Generate, facilitate and process product sales orders, and where possible sales orders for design.
    • Generate the maximum personal sales revenue for the Company at the best margin and to achieve your sales targets.
    • Deliver the highest level of customer service to John Cullen clients.
    • Guide prospective John Cullen clients through the buying process and to close sales.
    • To be fully aware of the latest products, technology and technical information in the John Cullen product range, including all its unique selling points
    • Be knowledgeable in all aspects of lighting best practices including fittings, drivers, regulations, control systems and both John Cullen and competitor products.
    • Develop long-term customer relationships with a view to generating and increasing sales.
    • Demonstrate and advocate the highest motivation and skills in sales.
    • Provide technical and sales support to all customers and respond within a reasonable amount of time to all queries.

  • Showroom Sales Manager (London)

    UK Sales

    The Showroom Sales Manager role is to be responsible for our lighting and design showroom in London. This consultative sales role is to sell our in-house designed LED lighting solutions, luminaires and customer service agreements to visitors to the showroom. You will be managing the day-to-day operations of the showroom, conducting product demonstrations, organising & hosting events, following up on all client interactions as well as maximising sales opportunities. This role requires demonstrating a LED lighting sales record, specialist knowledge on the UK LED lighting industry, LED product knowledge and Lighting Design awareness.

    We are looking for an excellent communicator with track record of developing and maintaining client relationships. Should be comfortable making presentations to private clients and industry professionals.

    Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

    • Management & ownership of the day-to-day running of the Showroom
    • Sales responsibility for showroom budget
    • Lighting demonstrations to showroom visitors
    • Generate marketing campaigns to improve footfall & visibility of showroom
    • Follow up of all client visits
    • Organisation & facilitation of showroom seminars, CPD’s & presentations
    • Promote the Cross-border international sales approach
    • Generate project specification sales leads of new prospective customers through networking and face-to-face meetings

  • Senior Lighting Designer

    Indian Subcontinent

    The Senior Lighting Designer role based in our Mumbai office is responsible delivering our world class lighting
    design service to our clients across the region. As a professional lighting design expert, you will be responsible for
    all aspects of the lighting design process from initial client project meeting, through concept, schematic,
    developed design and on to full supervision of our award winning projects.

    Key Attributes:

    As a confident and knowledgeable senior lighting designer with experience designing and managing high scale
    and detailed projects worldwide. Attention to detail is incredibly important and the confidence to work alone and
    as a part of our design team. You are expected to have excellent organisational skills and you must be a John
    Cullen ambassador and act in a professional manner at all times, setting a good example to customers and
    colleagues.

    Requirements:

    • Fluent in written and spoken English
    • A minimum of 5 years experience as a lighting designer
    • Have project managed varying residential and commercial projects from concept through to commissioning
    • Have a deep knowledge of the lighting industry, lighting products and relevant standards
    • Confident in taking the lead on projects and within the team
    • Pro active and assertive when managing own projects, deadlines and own diary
    • Incredibly focused on detail and quality of work
    • Knowledge on various lighting control systems, wiring and installation in order to manage site visits
    • Willing to travel for projects on a global scale
    • Dedicated to allowing extra time to all projects when deadlines demand

  • Supply Chain and Purchasing Analyst

    Dubai

    Our Supply chain analyst will be responsible for examining workflow and utilising analytical and quantitative
    methods to understand, predict, and streamline business processes, global stock levels, and enhance supply chain
    processes.

    Based on data analysis you must be able to purchase the correct stock levels for each product and issue accurate production orders for in-house assembly. This role utilises historical sales in combination with data on trends to generate supply plans and forecast product flow.

    The position includes assembling of data, analyses of performance, and identification of problems, as well as
    developing recommendations which support supply chain management planning and operations. Partnering with several cross functional teams, including (Global Logistics, Sales, & Operations) to assist, influence, and recommend solutions that identify root cause analysis and improve process development.

    Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

    • You will be expected to analyse large and multi-dimensional data sets using Excel and our SAP ERP system with an understanding of transportation, supply chain and logistics concepts.
    • A working knowledge of data analysis and the ability to follows process and standard procedures
      quantitative and analytical skills is a must.
    • You will be highly numerate and possess the ability to perform statistical analysis on large data set, to provide analytical support for projects, new businesses opportunities, and proposals

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Understanding and implementing required minimum global stock levels and maintaining constant flow of
      products
    • Maintaining close working relationships with all relevant stakeholders to ensure effective engagement and
      appropriate communication internally
