We are looking for a Sales Specification Consultant to join our UK Sales team.  You will be handed warm accounts however you will also be expected to generate own business development opportunities with support of Sales Director.  You will be fully conversant with our company story, brand language and more importantly the technical language needed to sell including our products’ USP’s.  Undertaking between 4 – 6 client meetings a week, driving clients towards visiting our Showroom for consultations / demonstrations will ensure that you maximise your sales pipeline and convert sales effectively and promptly exceeding your individual yearly sales target.  You will be aware of competition and be prepared to be ‘ahead of the game’ by optimising networks, leads and performance to ensure JCL excels.

  • Have a pro-active mind-set instead of reactive to ensure that sales are sought rather than fed through a transactional process.
  • Engineer the liaison with a client and to upsell where possible, with finally growth opportunities being maximised with the client; This leads onto return business.
  • Be engaged and ready to always sell.
  • You will understand the common client personas and our brand language
  • You will use the above to optimise sales.
  • Provide a positive, dynamic sales representation to our clients, architects and external designers.  In fact, anyone that encounters JCL.
  • Communicating with all other departments ensuring that they are fully aware of any potential delays or problems in the sale and / or project.
