Aysegul is a trusted advisor working in both manufacturing and supply in sales, marketing and product development roles for international companies. She gained a degree in Electrical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. She has been working in the lighting industry since 2008 and is one of the first generation who witnessed the development of LED in the market and mastered at the specification of it.​
