INDEX Exhibition 2025 Highlights

General News

INDEX, held in Dubai, brings together exhibitors from all over the world, showcasing everything from lighting, to furniture, FF&E, flooring, and interior architecture.

More than just a product showcase, INDEX has become a key gathering point for the global design community. John Cullen’s Design Director ME Estefania Marquez walks us through her must-see’s from this year’s edition.

INDEX EXHIBITION 2025 Moon Store Accessories
MOON STORE ACCESSORIES

One of the standout moments at INDEX was the discovery of the Moon Store Accessories stand. The interactive mirror immediately caught attention – followed by playful stickers, beautiful design details, and charming gift bags. A perfect example of creating a fun and interactive pop-up experience.

INDEX EXHIBITION 2025 Design Talks
DESIGN TALKS

The Design Talks are such a key part of INDEX, and as it was my first time attending since moving to Dubai, I now fully understand why. We made it just in time for one of the panel discussions, and I’m so glad we did. I loved hearing Charlie Wu’s thoughts on sensory design and how lighting shifts throughout the day, as well as his take on using external tiles in interior spaces. It was equally inspiring to learn about Carla Conte’s latest projects.

The discussion offered insightful reflections on how thoughtful design can shape our experience of space – from sensory elements and lighting to material choices. A genuinely engaging conversation with some brilliant minds.

SANIPEX

We loved visiting the SANIPEX stand, especially as we’re working together on something very exciting (more to be revealed soon!) It’s always special when you can see a peer’s presence come to life in a space like this. The journey through their products was fascinating. Congratulations to Daryl Barker and the team.

INDEX EXHIBITION 2025 The Sweet Spot
THE SWEET SPOT: COLAB X LAZZA

If you’re looking for inspiration, Colab is always a go-to, as they showcase sustainable and innovative materials. I adored the Karl Lagerfeld x Wasteboard skateboard made from recycled plastic bottle caps (my son would’ve loved it too!). And of course, the stop wouldn’t have been complete without a sweet pick-me-up from Lazza. Shoutout to Marco Maximus for this one, and to the familiar faces we caught up with over a coffee.

INDEX EXHIBITION 2025 The Designers Studio
THE DESIGNERS STUDIO

You couldn’t walk past this one without stopping for a photo. The Designers Studio had such a fun and vibrant setup-and the mood boards took me straight back to my university days. It was also lovely to learn more about their educational programs.

INDEX is another fine example of why I love the design community here in the Middle East, where you can walk through the halls and meet new faces while reconnecting with familiar ones. That connection, buzz and energy is what makes this region so special. Until next year!
