The Role:

We’re looking for an ambitious Graduate Product Designer to help shape future products and support our market leadership. You’ll bring fresh ideas, a proactive mindset, and a strong desire to learn, with full support as you grow in the role.

Fundamentally a creative role, you must be technically minded and highly organised with strong project management and communication skills. This hybrid role blends home, office, and site work, with regular travel to our London HQ.

You’ll lead projects from concept to delivery, working cross-functionally and engaging with external partners, requiring strong communication and organisational skills.

Proficiency in CAD (ideally SolidWorks), Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is essential. Training will be provided for additional tools or hardware as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage New Product Development (NPD) projects in line with the company’s product roadmap.
  • Own and manage Bespoke Product Development (BPD) projects as and when assigned.
  • Adhere to the Product Design Process including relevant software and workflows.
  • Maintain organised CAD libraries, including 3D models and 2D
    manufacturing drawings.
  • Work with manufacturers to develop clear technical specifications and production details for fault-free manufacturing.
  • Ensure all product developments adhere to relevant legislation and quality standards.
  • Actively participate in mechanical prototyping reviews.
  • Support the creation of product literature, such as specification sheets, installation instructions, labels and internal training documents.

Experience:

  • Degree-level qualification in Product Design (preferably BSc) or equivalent.
  • Experience in a Product Development role preferred, but not essential.

Key Attributes:

  • Creativity: Strong sketching, CAD and presentation skills, with the ability to conceptualise and communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of CAD packages, ideally SolidWorks, and relevant design practices.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and product briefs are met.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues in both in-person and remote settings.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment and manage remote work effectively.
  • Trust and Confidence: Ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders and deliver work with integrity and professionalism.
