A private retreat and a place for relaxation and sleep; bedroom lighting needs to be bright in the morning to engender that “get up and go” feeling (Scene 1), whilst at night it must be intimate and atmospheric feeling to promote rest (Scene 2). The sumptuous curtain fabric is enhanced with low glare Polestar downlights. The feature of a niche behind the bed is lit with LED Eyelid Under Cupboard Lights.
Dimmers are essential to help create the mood and allow the bedroom lighting to work from day to night. These could be regular rotary dimmers or the ultimate preset mood control. In each case the lighting effects need to be considered and controlled separately.
