Launching the new Polestar 2010 range, John Cullen’s downlights have been re-engineered for the 21st century setting new standards for technical performance and even greater aesthetic discretion.
Designed in-house and manufactured in the UK, the Polestar 2010 has all the features you would expect such as the concealed fixing ring, 35° directional tilt, deep baffle to reduce glare and the unique dual black baffle system, but now incorporates the following features:-
- Sharper engineered design
- Smaller, more discreet size – bezel is now 69mm instead of 76mm
- Flatter, more flush bezel for less shadows on the ceiling
- 30° adjustment of direction to repostion the beam laterally
These changes have been incorporated across the John Cullen downlight range including the Polestar 2010, Mini Polestar 2010, 360 Polestar 2010, Polespring 2010, Mini Polspring 2010, Aquabeam 2010, Mini Aquabeam 2010, Waterlily 2010 and Mini Waterlily 2010. Additionally single and double versions of the Square 2010 and Square Trimless 2010 have been introduced to compliment the range.
In addition John Cullen also introduces the new LED downlight as a viable alternative to the tungsten halogen version. Using the latest state-of-the-art LEDs, they have excellent colour rendition and 2700K colour temperature creating a warm white colour similar to tungsten. At only 12w comparable to a 50w halogen, the energy saving is considerable. The fittings are fully dimmable and come in three beam widths for ease of use.
